Worship With Us
Each week, we gather for a worship service that blends the timeless traditions of the Methodist faith with the warmth of a close-knit congregation. You’ll experience hymns, scripture readings, prayer, and a thoughtful message designed to connect God’s Word to the challenges and hopes of everyday life.
There’s no dress code; some wear jeans, others wear their Sunday best. What matters most is that you come ready to encounter God’s grace in a community of love.

As part of The United Methodist Church, Harrisburg UMC is grounded in the conviction that God’s love is for everyone. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, and we live that mission by growing in faith together and reaching out to serve our neighbors.
We emphasize the grace, the unconditional love of God freely given to all people. That grace invites us into a relationship with God, strengthens us in times of challenge, and empowers us to share love in tangible ways.
We also believe faith is not only about what we say on Sunday mornings, it’s about how we live every day. From small acts of kindness to serving our community, we seek to put love into action.
for your first visit
Walking into a new church can feel like a big step, but we want your first Sunday to feel relaxed and welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces who are happy to show you around and answer your questions.
Families are encouraged to bring children of all ages. Our nursery and children’s programs are safe, fun, and designed to help kids learn about God in age-appropriate ways. And if you’d rather keep your little ones with you in the sanctuary, that’s wonderful too. We love having children as part of our worship.
